Stefanie Busch, Dresden Germany

Here is the 5th floor studio of my Stefanie Busch, whom I got to know while I was in Germany in 2008, and then while she was in Columbus in last year. It was great to get back to Dresden for my exhibition, and the best part was seeing my good friend Stefanie!
Stefanie used photography and silkscreens to create her imagery, during here stay in Columbus she focused on the foreclosed and abandoned neighborhoods of Columbus, Cleveland and Detroit.

Ardine Nelson, Columbus

Here are some images of Ardine's dark room and second studio. I am not a photographer technically, I am intrigued by these photo machines and timing and chemical mixes and light meters and the like, it all seems a bit like alchemy to the laymen that I am. Quite interesting and fascinating.

Ardine Nelson, Columbus

Here is Ardine Nelson, who showed me around her beautiful garden, and her studio, this is the studio Andine and Fred had built, Look at the great staircase! Ardine and Fred are very prolific artists with stacks and stacks of frames and work.
